Sodium Acetate
Sodium Acetate is the sodium salt of acetic acid and is often used in chemistry and as a preservative.
Sodium Acetate is also sometimes used in heating pads, because it can generate heat when dissolved in water.
Sodium acetate is available as a 20% and 25% solution from Vivochem, but also as a bagged product under the name Sodium acetate-3-hydrate.
