Vivochem, Ferr-Tech, and VSD Food Machinery announce a new partnership

Almelo – Vivochem, together with its existing partner, Ferr-Tech, is proud to announce a new collaboration with VSD Food Machinery, a prominent supplier of machinery for the food industry. This partnership aims to integrate FerSol, an innovative solution for sustainable cleaning and water treatment, into the cleaning processes of the machines constructed by VSD Food Machinery.

VSD Food Machinery is providing high-quality food production and processing machines to clients worldwide. Their product portfolio includes smokehouses, injection machines, roasting and grilling ovens, cooking vessels, combi-
cabinets, and other specialized equipment used to produce meat, fish, and other food products.

VSD Food Machinery will integrate FerSol into the CIP (Clean-In-Place) systems of its injection machines, which are used in the production of meat and fish products. FerSol is an efficient and sustainable cleaning agent that thoroughly cleans food machinery, enhancing food safety. FerSol’s unique features, such as its ability to ensure effective cleaning, reduce sludge, prevent system blockages, and eliminate listeria for the fish industry, make it an ideal solution for these machines.

FerSol will be utilised in smokehouses to eliminate odours and soot efficiently. Its use ensures thorough cleaning, contributing to preserving the quality of smoked products and preventing residue build-up.

This collaboration represents a significant advancement in promoting sustainable solutions. FerSol has already been successfully applied in various sectors to treat wastewater and clean in an environmentally friendly manner, and it will now play a role in optimizing the cleaning of the machinery that VSD Food Machinery produces.

The contract for this collaboration was officially signed on Tuesday, September 3rd, and FerSol will be integrated into VSD Food Machinery’s machinery cleaning processes.

”It’s exciting to see two Almelo-based companies from different sectors come together through an innovative and environmentally friendly product,” said Ronald IJzer, Managing Director of Vivochem. ”This collaboration not only strengthens our local ties but also helps us to bring sustainable cleaning to the food industry.”

Maarten Kooij, the director of VSD Food Machinery, also expressed the company’s excitement about the partnership. He stated, ”We look forward to collaborating with Vivochem and Ferr-Tech to provide our customers with more sustainable and efficient solutions. We are proud of this partnership, which will allow us to improve safety and enhance the quality of machine cleaning without using chlorine.”
